STeP (Smile Twin e-Learning Program), an initiative by Smile Foundation, focuses on empowering underprivileged youth through market-oriented skills training in India. Implemented through e-learning modules and practical sessions in collaboration with local communities and industry partners, STeP offers courses in sectors such as retail, hospitality, IT-enabled services, and healthcare.With a strong emphasis on bridging the gap between education and employment, STeP has successfully trained 240 beneficiaries since its inception. The program equips youth from economically weaker backgrounds with essential skills, enhancing their employability and facilitating their integration into the formal job sector or entrepreneurship.
STeP’s impact extends beyond skill development to fostering socio-economic empowerment, enabling youth to achieve sustainable livelihoods and contribute positively to their communities. Through strategic partnerships and tailored training programs, STeP continues to empower youth and drive inclusive growth across India.
